Fake Fullscreen Fallout 3

  1. The basic feral ghoul variant in Fallout 3 wears only a pair of tattered shorts (or ripped pants) and is noticeably weaker than standard human opponents. They are easily dispatched with one or two headshots, or a solid hit with a decent weapon in close quarters combat.
  2. If you only use one mod, I highly recommend Fallout Wanderer's Edition. Even for your first playthrough. Just a small sample of how combat is different with the mod. Other elements change as well. Read the release notes for all the changes. I thought Fallout 3 was quite boring the first playthrough just vanilla.

Nov 02, 2008  How do you make Fallout run fullscreen? User Info: TheXboxgamer73. TheXboxgamer73 10 years ago #1. I've been searching for this answer for a while, and all I can come up with is the idea that such an old game cannot run fullscreen on newer computers. Is there any kind of mod to make the game fullscreen? It appears as like a box in the middle of.

I would say it depends on the game.I tested GTA San Andreas in Window mode and it took a performance hit when using the monitor's native resolution. Bringing it down to 1680x1050 greatly improved performance, but it's lower resolution.I played Fallout 3 and Fallout: NV in window mode @ full resolution. I ALT + Tab out of the game from time to time to do various things like checking on the process of some video encoding in the background. However, ALT + Tab seems to crash these games. Hence, I play them in windowed mode.Window mode can generally cause lag due because the video card is rendering the game and the desktop.

I'm modding FNV for the first time and I'm running into a bit of an issue with the Fake Fullscreen mod.

Fallout 4 Not Going Fullscreen

I'm following gopher's performance enhancement video about installing the 4GB launcher and the Fake Fullscreen launcher. I already had the NVSE installed, and these are the only mods I've installed so far. I wanted them installed for when I test the actual mods I'll be installing. When I try to launch from the FakeFullscreen Launcher, it never actually removes the window, and I get an error 'Fallout is not running'.

I tried with 2 monitors or 1. When I check the the task manager, FNV (the one that runs when you run off of NVSE) and the 4GB launcher are the only ones running, even though I launch from the fake fullscreen launcher.Any ideas what could be causing this? All the launchers are copied into the same folder under 'common'.
