Gpu Tweak 2 Not Saving Settings

I was not sure where to post this, but since it is related with an AMD Radeon videocard I though I should try here. Previously when using the ASUS GPU Tweak I was able under Tuning to change Memory Clock (MHz) for both 3D and 2D and save these as default profile. With the latest version of ASUS GPU TweakII the interface has changed and there are no settings to change 3D and 2D.

I have 'GPU Tweak', not the II version, but it's probably much the same. So once you have set your fan curve you have to save it to one on the 'profile' numbers (click save and select a number). Now under 'settings' click on the 'Tune' tab and then 'Tune setting' and put a check in the box 'Keep setting for next start on close application'. Basically Asus GPU tweak 2 is showing my clock speed at 700mhz when the 1070 is generally clocking at around 1800-2000. This randomly started a couple days ago and the card is still showing proper clock speeds using GPU-Z's sensors. List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem. Reinstalled GPU tweak 2.

Bethesda account for skyrim. It’s worth reading the description to see if there’s any other mods it’s incompatible with.

However, there is an 'Always 3D Clock' button which unfortunately is not enabled by default. Can anyone know how to enable 'Always 3D Clock' and save this setting in order to be automatically loaded with Windows?

Click to expand.Based on my professional tenure at Asus in Customer Care and working with new hardware design, I can assure you it is normal behavior, and whatever source you are quoting is flat out wrong in their conclusions. Whenever the memory clocks change, it causes the output timings to change, and thus the micro interruption of output. It doesn't have to happen every time, and 2 cards from same maker doesn't have to display this.

This happens on NV based cards too.For example, my original Sapphire R9 390 had this behavior from day 1, and yet my replacement card does not. Same model and same memory. Could it be a revision change? But the issue doesn't cause any damage to the card, so it isn't anything to worry about.EDIT: Just wanted to add that the change here could also have been that I've also updated my monitor, which may have better tolerance to the memory clock changes.

I had the same problem with this when I saved a custom profile on my backup rig, every time I restarted the machine the fans would crank up to 50% on my GPU. I uninstalled the program and installed MSI Afterburner instead (which is actually better than GPU Tweak) but I still have the same problem, I just have to load Profile 1 manually when the fan ramps up which drops it back down to 28%.If I ever get round to bothering to sort it out I'll let you know, but even though it's mildly annoying considering the fact the fan boost carried over to another program it's not bothering me enough to look into it too much.

Plus that rig is on the kids' room now and they're not bothered by the loud fan when they turn it on!
